An dieser Stelle m\u00f6chten wir kurz erz\u00e4hlen, warum wir uns in dieses jahrhundertealte Haus verliebt haben, und warum wir es zu neuem Leben erweckt haben, indem wir es in ein komfortables und einladendes Hotel verwandelt haben, in dem man den Puls von La Laguna sp\u00fcrt.<\/p>\n

Ein Herrenhaus mit viel Geschichte aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, obwohl der Grundriss und die meisten Baumaterialien, die heutzutage noch existieren, aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammen.<\/p>\n

Der italienische Geograf Leonardo Torriani nahm dieses Haus in den von ihm zwischen 1588 und 1589 angefertigten Stadtplan auf. Ein wertvolles Dokument, aus dem hervorgeht, dass der urspr\u00fcngliche Stadtgrundriss der Altstadt von La Laguna bis heute erhalten geblieben ist, was einer der Gr\u00fcnde daf\u00fcr ist, dass San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna von der Unesco zum Weltkulturerbe erkl\u00e4rt wurde.<\/p>\n

Das illustrierte Werk dieses englischen Reisenden, der sich Anfang des 17. Jahrhunderts in Puerto de la Cruz niederlie\u00df, schildert die Sitten und Gebr\u00e4uche der Bewohner der Kanarischen Inseln und diente dazu, die Kultur und Traditionen unseres Archipels im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich des 18. Jahrhunderts bekannt zu machen.<\/p>\n
